North Cascades Corvairs is hosting the annual Sweetheart Cruise on February 11, 2012. It will start at the abandoned gas station adjacent to Pasek Cellars wine tasting shop in Conway (Exit 221) at 10:00 a.m.
The 59 mile route will take about 2 hours, and go through Fir Island, La Conner, the South end of Fidalgo Island, over Deception Pass bridge, along the scenic west coast of Whidbey Island, then to Coupeville, back through Ebey Landing to the west coast, through Fort Casey, past the Ferry dock at Keystone Harbor, across the island to the east coast, and end at 550 Race Road. Graham and Nancy Dell will prepare a special lunch for our enjoyment.
Our cost will be $10 per person, payable to the NCC treasury.
We need a good count of folks that will attend in order to have an adequate supply of lunches, and not have any extras left over. An early sign up will help with our planning.
