| Fourteen members of North Cascades Corvairs signed up to participate in the national Corvair Heritage Day Event. Our group decided on a Winery Tour through the beautiful Skagit Valley in Northern Washington. We visited four wineries, and a garden cafe for lunch, covering 50 miles through the scenic valley.
Most returned to the urban area via a less traveled back road along the south bank of the Skagit River, covering an additional 30 miles. Although the Corvair was the focus of our attention, the side benefit of wine tasting added to the adventure. |
