Following is some background information regarding the Corvairs pictured here - Jay Green's blue 1967 Monza Coupe, his friend Jedd Hall's ermine white 1966 Sedan, and friend Mark Bashara's silver blue 1964 Monza Convertible (placard). All other Corvair owners whose cars appear in the images are unknown.

On August 26, 2007 the North East Corvair Council hosted the annual Lime Rock Corvair Show. The show took place at the beautiful Wake Robin Inn, located in Lakeville, Connecticut. "Long Distance Member" Jay Green's 1967 Monza Coupe placed 8th in the Late Model (LM) category - it was the first time the mostly orginal car was entered in a judged event. Jedd Hall's ermine white 1966 Sedan placed 5th in the LM category, while Mark Bashara's silver blue 1964 Monza Convertible placed 3rd in the Early Model (EM) category.
